Corentin Mors, Cofounder of mySetup

Who are you?

I’m Corentin, a french engineering student in cyber-security.

I’m the cofounder of, my latest project I develop with Samuel Forestier.

Can you tell us the story of your business from idea to where you are now?

Watching livestreams from well known e-sports players, I discovered that many viewers were asking the streamer about his computer’s hardware.

Moreover, loads of Youtubers are publishing their “MY SETUP” video where they describe their devices, desks…

From this observation, I decided to create, a website to share your setup.

With my friend Samuel, we started to create an entire application based on CakePHP which is a powerful framework. Today we keep adding more and more functionalities to enhance our platform and give the best experience to our users.

What has been your biggest failure or struggle?

Well, my daily struggle is too wear several hats : marketer, community manager, web developer, legal expert, designer… It’s really exciting, but it takes a lot of time and effort, without forgetting my studies.

And what has been your biggest achievement or success?

The project is too young to talk about big achievement or success, but turning a simple idea into a web platform has been, for us, a success as well as being featured on Product Hunt.

What’s your must read business book?

A really impressive book is “Delivring Happiness” by Tony Hsieh (“L’entreprise du Bonheur” in french). Everyone should know the CEO of Zappos, he has a different vision of the entrepreneurship based on the well-being of his employees and clients. For him, the happiness of client will always be better than any kind of advertising.

Who’s your most inspirational CEO or founder?

Cyril Paglino, the CEO of Tribe, an awesome live video calls app. I could have say any big and successful CEO like Elon Musk but I choose Cyril because he makes me think that anyone can be an entrepreneur and succeed, no matter his background.

And can you tell us something weird or interesting about yourself?

That will be not my last project.
